The 5/4×4 Ipe rainscreen profile is a newer way to use Ipe for siding. It is easy to install and provides a nice weather barrier. Ipe rainscreen is known as the best wood option for siding as Ipe is a superior wood for outdoor use.
Please note: We use many different rainscreen profiles. We have not found any specific one to be better than another. The reason there are different profiles used is due to the patent of the clips used for attachment. If you require a specific profile please make sure to get it on your invoice as we do sometimes use different profiles than shown here.
