Steven Rossi founded Ipe Woods USA in 2017 to bring tropical hardwood decking to contractors and homeowners mill-direct, cutting out the distribution layers that inflate price and obscure where the wood comes from.

Today Steven leads Ipe Woods USA's sourcing relationships with mills across Brazil, Bolivia, and Peru, focused on legal, selective-harvest supply and full chain-of-custody documentation under the Lacey Act and CITES.

He writes and reviews Ipe Woods USA's species specifications, grading standards, and installation guidance.
