Tongue and Groove Ipe should really only be used on covered porches. The expansion and contraction in an open environment can be problematic unless covered,  thus reducing exposure. These ipe boards are suitable for many applications, they are mostly used for Ipe decking wood. Although called “Eased-edge” these are standard Ipe decking boards.
